EduViz ("we," "us," or "our"), available at eduviz.app, generates short, silent math animation clips from a written description. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using EduViz, you consent to the practices described below.

When you use the supported sign-in option, we receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your profile picture, when available
- An authentication identifier used to keep your account secure
We never see or store the password for your sign-in account.
- Subscription tier, clip allowance, and payment status
- Transaction identifiers from our payment processor
- Billing address when required by regulation
Payments are handled by a dedicated payment processor. We never store your full card number.
- The topics and instructions you submit to generate a clip
- The picture contract and clips the Service produces for you, plus basic delivery details such as duration and completion status
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- IP address and approximate region
- Session cookies or secure tokens to keep you logged in
- Limited operational data used to troubleshoot errors, combat abuse, and improve generation quality
We do not intentionally collect names, grades, or other personal information about students. Please do not include such data in your prompts.
- Deliver the Service: create, store, and play back your clips
- Process payments, manage your clip allowance, and prevent fraud
- Send transactional email (sign-in, receipts, generation results)
- Resolve generation failures and improve output quality
- Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or generated clips to advertise to you.
Generating a clip requires processing your prompt and resulting scene materials with specialized services. We send only the content necessary to complete your request — never your name, email, or billing details with the clip content.
We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Service:
- Account information needed to authenticate you
- Billing information needed to process payments and prevent fraud
- Clip content needed to generate and deliver your requested file
- Limited usage information needed to understand and improve product reliability
Each service receives only the minimum data needed to perform its function.
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Finished clip files remain available for download for the period included with your plan: 7 days for Free, 90 days for Creator and clip-pack purchases, and 365 days for Pro. Downloaded copies on your own device are not affected.
- Prompts and other project information are retained while your project and account remain active, unless you delete them sooner.
- Deleted content becomes inaccessible immediately and is scheduled for deletion within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law.
You may, at any time:
- Access and update your account information in Settings
- Delete your generated clips
- Delete your account, which immediately removes access to your generated content and schedules it for deletion as described above (some records, such as invoices, may be retained where the law requires)
- Contact us to exercise any data-protection right available under the laws of your region (including GDPR and CCPA rights where applicable)

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, protected account credentials, scoped access controls, and dedicated payment handling. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to protect access to your sign-in account.
EduViz is intended for adults — teachers, researchers, engineers, and creators. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
